Big Stone County will be accepting sealed bids for the Big Stone County Courthouse HVAC project. Specifications and other documents may be obtained from:

Sealed bids will be received at the Big Stone County Courthouse until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30th, 2023, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read in the Big Stone County Commissioner Room.  Bids will be presented to the county commissioners for their consideration at a meeting to be held on Thursday, December 7th, 2023.

Bids must be accompanied by a Cashier’s Check payable to Big Stone County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, or a bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid.  Bids shall be marked “Big Stone County Courthouse HVAC”.

Big Stone County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to wave any informalities in the bidding.

A pre-bid conference will be held on Thursday, November 9th, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. in the Big Stone County Commissioner’s room.  A walk through of the work areas will follow.

Building Exchanges: The contract documents are on file at the Sioux Falls Builders Exchange, Plains Builders Exchange, Master Builders of Siouxland, Sioux City Construction League, Master Builders of Iowa-Builders Exchange Network, Dodge Bulletin and Fargo Builders Exchange.
