The Big Stone County Recorder's Office serves as the keeper of the real estate records for Big Stone County. Our land records date back to the late 1870's, and we have the history of all Big Stone County land transactions recorded since that time. 

Our office can also assist you with:

We frequently have inquiries about social security cards. Unfortunately, since we are a county office and replacing or correcting social security cards is a federal matter, we suggest you check the U.S. Social Security Administration website or call (800) 772-1213.
